Blue Photon.

Photo-activated adhesive workholding for parts conventional clamping distorts or blocks. Grippers bond the part through a UV-cured adhesive, so the holding force is spread across a bonded pad rather than concentrated at a jaw. Blue Photon publish it for thin-walled parts, complex shapes, composites, ceramics and additively manufactured components, and for holding ferrous and non-ferrous metals and superalloys. Where it earns its place is tool access — the part is held without a clamp standing between the cutter and the feature. Supplied and supported through ISG.
