MS² Tooling — specified, not just supplied

Anyone can send you a catalogue.

Tooling sold without application knowledge is just shipping. What matters is whether the holder fits your turret, whether the grade suits your material, and whether the thing arrives with someone who can make it cut. That is the part we are actually selling.

01 Categories

Organised by what you need, not by whose logo is on it.

01

Cutting and threading tools

Turning, grooving, parting, threading and whirling. Insert grades and geometry chosen for the material and the machine, not for whatever is on promotion.

02

Live tooling and toolholding

Driven holders and static holders for Swiss and turning platforms — matched to your turret interface, speeds and coolant delivery.

03

Workholding

Collets, guide bushings, chucks and fixturing. The unglamorous half of every tolerance problem.

04

Coolant systems

High- and medium-pressure coolant, chillers, mist collection and filtration. Chip evacuation is a process decision before it is a purchase.

05

Bar feeders and loaders

Magazine bar feeders, short-bar and chucker loaders, specified around your machine and your bar stock rather than a spec sheet.

06

Cutting fluids and shop supply

Coolants and lubricants matched to material, machine and water chemistry — the variable most shops never test and most tool-life problems hide behind.

02 How we describe what we carry

Established lines

Heimatec, Carmex, SIMTEK, AKKO and Oemeta are our established tooling lines. MP Systems and FMB are featured product lines alongside them.

Bar feeding

Edge Technologies and FMB are the featured and preferred bar-feeding brands. Other bar-feed brands can be sourced on request where a specific requirement calls for it.

Everything else

Described accurately as products MS² can source and supply. Where we hold a stronger written authority we will say so, and not before.

Specification comes first

Tell us the machine, the material, the feature and the problem. A quote built on that is worth something; a part number pulled from a catalogue is not.

What are you trying to cut?

Machine model, material, the feature, and what is going wrong now if something is. If we carry it we will quote it; if we don't, we will tell you who does.
